After many years of treatment medical and alternative I came
across the Alexander Technique through an evening class I attended in 2002. I
discovered I could learn to help myself, which was a revalation in itself, to become pain free and use my mind
and body to its best potential; I went on to train at Queens Park School in
London.
I am a member of
STAT, the Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique and work part-time in
their offices in London.
This is a useful site if you wish to know more about The Technique.
Alexander Technique continues to be my passion, I maintain
my learning through having lessons and attending regular workshops. I work
part-time for Friends of the Alexander Technique a charity whose aim is to encourage a sense of community amongst people at all levels of experience in the Technique.
